Sleep Kinda?

Sleep... we all need it. Why do we need it? Well that we still don't know, with our only explanation being we get sleepy. I'm here to talk about sleeping in. As a teenager I love my sleep like no other age group, but wait my grandparents also love their sleep. Well as I'm sure you could already guess I like to have my sleep start in the early morning and go to the end of the morning, while my grandparents like going from the early night, to the early morning. Why do I like to sleep long into the morning? Logically I see little value of going to bed late and waking up early. If I followed my grandparents sleep schedule I would have more time to do stuff in the hours where you have more possibilities to do stuff. (Sorry 3 AM, but other than 24hr fast food places there is not much stuff to do). I think the problem stems from my procrastination, in which if I don't get up I don't have to do anything I dislike. This argument is the most likely, because the day I normally sleep in the longest is Sunday, which is also the day I have to do all the homework for school which I haven't done yet. (Probably don't even need to include the "yet") I'm not really talking about anything right now with this piece being fairly sporadic, but the real reason I'm just writing random things is I'm procrastinating.

Yep gotcha. I have a math test on this Monday (tomorrow), an English paper Tuesday, German test Tuesday, and some random science packets. This procrastination in which I'm indulging in is one of humanities most intriguing features. All of this studying and homework I have to do can be seen as problems. What is the one way to fix problems? To work on them. So I am taking the way I know for sure can't fix them, by not working on my homework, or studying. This is interesting because when we have a problem like food, we find it. If we need water what do we do? We get it. Then why am I not solving the problems I have. I think it comes down to freewill. Both necessities like food and water can overpower all, but the strongest of wills. This is because we need them to live, but my problem I can live if I don't solve them. So while humanities greatest gift may be this free will we have, it is also the thing stopping us from doing all but the necessities to live. Really this post was just a time for me to self reflect, so thanks for listening to my scrambled thoughts and... Have an awesome day.
