Vacation Burlington

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I am up in Burlington Vermont with my brother and that because of this I will finish the game series when I am back home. I am staying in my brother's house with him and his roommates, having been here since Sunday. My brother and I came down from my Grandparents house after spending the weekend up there.

It is beautiful in Burlington, and if you have never gone I would highly suggest it. I have been here quite a bit in my life because both my brothers ended up going to college in the city. One of the coolest parts of the city is Church Street. Church Street is incredibly fun, being only pedestrian usable with tons of shops, performers, and restaurants all along it. Even myself who has very little money has enjoyed just walking down Church Street while my Brother is at work. In addition, there are some really nice parks off Church Street. You can relax in the shade, play games in these parks, or cool down in the fountains within them.

Right at the bottom of the city is Lake Champlain and it's beaches. Lake Champlain is gorgeous and my Brother and I took a 20-mile bike ride down the coast, eventually ending up on the Causeway. The Causeway is a walking/bike only path that is around 7 yards wide, almost cutting the lake in two. On both sides of you is the lake and it is truly spectacular to go down it seeing the vast expanse of water surrounding you completely. It is a blast up here, and I hope you are having a good summer too.
