I have a friend named Wind. Wind is always moving. Wind will not settle for worse than her best, feeling roaring but chained emotions. Wind will speed up, and up, approaching the limit of her breath, but never forgets her anchor: friends and family. Wind will listen and be there the best she can, be it vomit, loss, or her sibling. Siblings, a bond that is special, not because of familial relationship-hood, but the sacrifice siblings give for one another. I lack knowledge of Wind's personal sibling relationship, but from the outside, hers reminds me of my brother Duncan and mines. They both have blown so much in life but will come down for their kin. I've learned things from Wind, little bits of conversational skill, making me a tad less awkward, but also, how sometimes time is needed for one's self, and that is okay. Soon it'll be Windy somewhere else, and I won't be there, but I'm glad I got to experience the cool breeze for as long as I could.

I have a friend named Capri Sun. Capri Sun contains a lot of flavors, but whenever I spend time with him, a stream emerges that starts off with tumbling waves and ends with sweet, surprising, and unique smiles. I can imagine Capri Sun on a beach vacation, surfing, being awful at it, until they get mediocre, screaming random words to the sky the whole time, and then espousing "Gucci Gang" as the sun rests. A different variety of Capri Sun entered my head when I saw a text from his mom pop up one day at lunch: he's loving and lovable. Then those pictures from three years ago, at the bus loop, satisfy a different taste. It is always that one day, the day we talked and dared. The day I stuck a pencil in my nose. He randomly sends me those images that form a toothy grin on my face. I don't know much about his natural flavor, but I hope he is doing well. Capri Sun makes me smile, I know I can always say something and get a tasty response from him. Even if what I say is a statement, he'll add on, he squirts more. This means a lot to me. I'd be interested to see your future Capri Sun. I wonder how you age?
