I think everyone can look back on their day and relive a moment where they were kind. So much is lost in the bustle of the day that people's good intentions become muffled by the loud world. I try to look back on what I see each week, but in the end, only tiny spotlights of time show through. The brilliance of human compassion is that despite this inability to realize even an hour later what someone did for you, humanity continues to give. It's true that giving and being recognized for the action is an influencer of choices, but the fact is, so much is not acknowledged, and yet, people continue to choose to act with good intentions: be it grabbing a piece of paper for a friend, or helping them cope with a hard situation. To these people below and everyone else, thank you for what you do.
AC: You were compassionate and there for a friend who wanted someone to talk with.
CV: In science class, I did not have a calculator to use, and so you got an extra one out for me.
ER: When you had a friend who really wanted to talk, you did, being truly there for them.
HT: When I was struggling with a computer science question you helped me figure it out, going so far as to let me call you to ask questions.
JB: You sent me many German textbook pages which I did not have.
JY: I appreciate getting to go over the problem of the week with you almost every week.
MJ: On Wednesday, you loaning me your calculator for the science test completely saved me. Thank you so much.
MP: I saw you give EC and KT holiday gifts and I know you have even more for people. I had a blast going to Target with you on Tuesday.
MW: You included a person in your class in a conversation.
SA: You are always nice to me and pass me the ball in our basketball games.
SG: During the English word jumble, you got me a paper without me even asking for one. Then, when I needed a pencil, you rummaged through your backpack to find me one.
TA: You celebrated a friends success with nothing but happiness for them.
