Around school, I've heard a few times, people say that they are mean, and are never nice. Well I disagree whole heartedly with that statement, but it can be hard to convince people, myself included, of something that they don't believe in. I really wanted to change this perception, because I know when ever I do something that I deem mean I feel terrible inside. I often talk without thinking, and this can get me into trouble, for example one time I was playing chess on my phone with a friend, and we were sitting with two other people, and we were joking around together, and I don't know exactly how it happened, but I ended up saying "Well you can't play chess". Now this sounds like I'm just assuming they can't play chess, basing it off of no knowledge, but what I was meaning is that they are not playing chess, (I don't exactly remember why I even meant that, I think we were just playfully teasing each other, like about using our phones). They were fine, and said that they could, which I then explained, that that wasn't what I meant. Despite this I still felt bad about it, intent vs. impact can often be strong on both sides. Now what is this post actually about, well it is a list of people at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School who have shown acts of kindness. Why this list? Well one way to cheer someone up who down, for whatever reason, is to show them how nice they are, that was one of the reasons I started this list. The actual way the list started was that, I was just touched by someone who was extraordinarily nice, but after a while I realized that why should I keep it to one person. That caused me to start taking notes on my phone whenever I saw something nice occur. Along with specific events I've also included some attributes that all of you show.

Now I won't be able to catch every nice thing because so many things happen every day, but I'll try my best and if you see anything you can try and contact me, because I will be posting a new list every Saturday. (This list is about 2 weeks long in the making, plus some of my past memory, but all the rest will be one week)

Here is Lincoln Sudbury Regional High Schools Awesome People list.

Side note- If you know that one of these is about you and want me to take it down, contact me, it is no problem whatsoever. I want this list to be something that makes people happy, not stressed out or sad.

I'm will be using the initials of people so that people can recognize themselves, but some anonymity remains.

A.C. : You laugh at all of my puns, no matter how bad they are. After a day where unfair events occurred between both the AP US history classes, and their respective tests, you taped my pencil back together after it was broken, despite the tension in the air.

A. L. You innate talks with me on the bus, you helped me with APUSH test, compliment me more then an acquaintance normally would. And you do this all despite being a grade above me, and not knowing me very well before this year.

C. B. and K. F. : At our math table you are just really fun to hangout with, and both of you help out whoever needs it.

C. C. : You help me with German homework, and science homework when I need it. You are always good to talk to.

C.M. : All throughout middle school, and into high school you've followed my stupid tricks to fix problems that we both know won't work, just to entertain me.

C. V. : You care about me, and so many people, in ways that I don't think anyone of us could've guessed. The day you saw the Cutting Edge post you showed this care in our conversation. You also have a great ability to sense when things are going too far, and respecting peoples boundaries.

D. D. : I remember when we had an in class essay in history, and you showed me and others your notes on the different possible essays right before, and it was just really nice.

E. C. When I have questions you answer them in German. This is shown in all your actions with me having witnessed you helping another student, when you didn't have to, in the morning.

E. K. : When I thought my phone was broken in history you figured out how to reset it for me, easing any stress I had.

E. P. : You always have a smile on your face, no matter what is said. You also always have a positive attitude, you are like an unbreakable pot.

G. C. and J. Y. : Well for one thing we have amazing bus 6 parties, which instantly puts you both in the awesome camp. But you both also share an uncanny ability to both be a calming aspect in life, and when needed to be extremely helpful to those around you.

Different--G. C.: You always say nice things to me(Like always say I'm so nice, when you don't have to) , you are never mean to me, you are so big hearted

H. T. : In science you always let me use your charger. You are also always helpful when I need it, never turning me down. (Plus playing games in science makes the class awesome)

J. B. : You do so much, be it helping me with work, or just having goofy conversations. You let my antics ride free, with some of the most fun random things being discussed.

J. G. : You are incredibly passionate about what you believe in, and don't step down when you think something is wrong. Along with this though, when talking/arguing/debating you never attack the person even if you think their ideas are wrong. Instead you attack the idea.

J. P. and M. O. : Did a really amazing job coordinating a Relay for Life, being the main anchor within it. You've also just both made me smile, be it M. O. wishing me good luck before the AP exam, or J.P in science looking across the room and acknowledging and questioning why the heck am I sitting on the table.

K. A. : On a half day, I had to stay after because of a driving lesson, and you came and sat down with me when I was alone, and that made me feel really good inside, thanks.

L. A. : Your sarcastic humor is always fun in English, and I liked it when we had the game where your name changed (losing a couple letter ;) )

L. G. You just make me always have a smile, you're incredibly enthusiastic, and always just have the nicest things to say about me, and everyone else, I also love that you will always stop in the halls for me, even though like every time I wave you over there's no actual reason

K. O. : You do such an amazing job organizing fundraisers, especially when some of the time its not even part of a club, and you are the person who is doing almost all the work, you just care that much.

K. L. : You bought my cookies at a bake sale I was apart of, when no one else would. Just an amazing attitude that makes you want to talk with you.

K. S. : One time you texted me apologizing to me, about something that I didn't even no occurred. That apology of something that I hadn't even realized happened just showed how caring you were.

M. P. : You are so appreciative, and have an ability to believe in everyone, shown by just how trusting you are. Along with this you make everyone feel comfortable in your presence, and I always feel like I can be my true self around you when we chat (Which trust me is hard to get me to be).

M. V: The day you, my table partner, and I worked together, playing German charades was really nice. And you were just super caring when unforeseen events arose.

N. D. : You care about us, you listen, you wrote me a letter of recommendation when you didn't have to.

S. A. : No matter who, you'll always be up for starting a conversation, and including them! (I've seen it lots of times)

S. L.: Our walks up to the A400s our always an epic time, and last Friday you even waited for me when I got out of class way later then you. You are also a comedy genius.

S. W. : You are the person who will always give me high fives (They are the best, though we've got to work on our running ones). I don't think I have ever heard you say anything negative, about well anything.

X. Z.: You have an extraordinary ability to make everyone think they are a comedy genius, myself included. You are also just so friendly, and I think everyone I've ever heard talk about you has only said positive things.

Z. A.: You are always fun to hangout with, you've driven me many times, and you are so flexible as a person, finding fun in about every possible thing from video games, to board games, to playing man hunt in the freezing cold.

Bus 12 driver: Despite it being out of your way, you always drive me to my house instead of the bus stop that's a little far away. Along with this before you started driving me directly to my house, on your way back around we would always wave to each other, and it made me feel like you cared about me.

Don't know name but sit behind me in art class: I saw you pick up a picture that had fallen to the ground, while I just sat there deciding if it was my responsibility to pick up. Instead of figuring out who should do it, you stepped up and showed the world in that small few seconds how good of a person you were.
