PIGS

I love pigs! Pigs are the coolest animal no matter how you look at it. They are super smart, nice, and so cute! Today I'm going tot tell the story of how I started to love pigs. It all began on a cool Autumn day. I was 4 years old at the time, and was at Drumlin Farm with my mom. We were going around seeing all the animals, and having a generally nice time. When I got to the pigs I thought they were cute, but there was no special connection. What those little pigs did though, physically changed my life forever. These pigs didn't do anything huge or ridiculous, but what they did do was be friendly. I stuck my tiny hand through the fence, and these pigs weren't afraid of me, no they came up to my hand and gave it kisses with their snout. I was only slightly bigger than the pigs at the same time, so I could see there eyes clearly. There was pure love and affection coming out of those tiny black eyes, with not even the thought of being scared within them.

That 3 minute interaction with those pigs drastically changed my life. For one thing I decided to become a donoteatpigetarian (I stopped eating all pig products), but even more then that those pigs taught me to love completely. Those pigs showed me how much can be gained by not fearing, and instead loving. The power of love isn't only in that it can help when you are hurt, but when you are having a perfectly good day, and someone or thing still gives out so much love it still has the same effect as though they were saving you from a burning house. There is no reason to give that love out to someone who is already happy in a practical sense, but by giving it out you like the pigs did for me, show to the recipient how important they are. Unconditional love is truly one of the hardest things to have for anyone or anything, but it has one of the most impactful affects on anyone's life. I'm not just pigging around here, by showing love when you don't have to has an effect I can't even put in words so I'll just use this
