16 is what?!?!

I created this blog so that someone could see how I thought, something I had always wondered about others. With it, people could compare their processes to mine, and come to the answer that I could not find. What this blog has done though is been a resource just as much for me as for others. I have come to conclusions and beliefs that can be found throughout this blog. I believe that each person is similar in how they think, the types of anxieties that come up, especially in the social arena. That the difference between people can often be realizing that they are not alone in how they think, and with this realization an easier ability to cope with anxieties they have in social society. This blog has undergone a quite large style change from its initial conception to now. In the first few posts, I tried to keep the writing and editing time to a sum of sixteen minutes. This was completely unattainable if I wanted to have posts reach the depth, and level of writing that I wanted. Posts generally take an hour and a half, though this can vary with some shorter posts, like the awesome people, and some longer, like the history posts. Each of the different resource tabs in the top left brings a part of me to life. I have delved into the most personal of details in the story tab while letting out whatever is on my mind in the random thoughts tab. I have created a place for my passions, like history, and board games in each of their tabs. My philosophy on life can be found in the worldview tab, while my thoughts on my self in the self-reflection tab. Some of my favorite pieces are under the awesome people tab, in which everyone can see the amazing things people do. This blog has changed greatly since its beginning, but so have I. I thank everyone who reads or subscribes to my blog, I appreciate that you let me share my world with you.

Hi everyone, my name is Ian Hacker, and I am a sophomore at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School. I bet you wanna know why this blog is called 16 and here's the story. I was sitting on my shays in my living room after a particularly interesting day, and decided to create a blog in which I write about my day in 15 minutes. That's right 15 minutes, so how did it become 16, well that's because after writing my first piece in 15 minutes I decided to make a website. Found this one, which seemed pretty cool, causing me to put 15 as my first title. Well my page kind of froze, causing me to reload, and you know what happened? I decided to make the title now 16, because you know I'm that cool, 16 year old who dislikes driving when everyone else loves, it and wears a big orange coat to school. From now on all posts after my first not this official blog will be 16 minutes, but hey who knows maybe my screen will freeze again before I finish and it might be called 18.Well that's how this blog came into creation now a little about myself. Personally English is probably my least favorite subject, now that may be because I'm not great at it, or it could be just because I'm so amazing at so many other things, but either way my favorite subject is definitely science specifically biology. I do also really enjoy math though so you know the kid who likes the non humanities makes a blog, makes sense. Other than that I should warn you that this blog will be filled with both grammar, spelling, and a million other mistakes because I'm literally only spending only 16 minutes per post, so not much time for editing. Well that's 16 minutes so good night and goodbye, also PIGS AND CAKE ARE AMAZING.
